LOVE THE JOURNEY

Most of us have heard the age old saying: "If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life". While it could be partially true, I think the major part of it would be otherwise. Most people work very hard even if they love their jobs and at times they do things they don't like to do or are compelled to do. They give their extra best to satisfy others and at times beyond their comfort level. A friend of mine once said: I love my job except for that Boss of mine who demands things which are unreasonable and often times,at the last minute. It's probably more accurate to say that if you're doing the right thing - despite how you feel, despite the circumstances. despite what others might say or do in response - you will be satisfied with yourself. The work will then be a fulfilling experience. It is good to have an end to the journey but it is the very journey that matters in the end.If you miss all the great things that happen along the way, you will miss the joy that everday brings along, and the journey itself will be boring. So if you love your job, love all that comes along with it.Successful people do what is right no matter how they feel, and by doing right, they feel good.
